Environment

As one of the company's priorities, Alas Romania invests considerably in environmental restoration.

Environmental protection, the protection of the built environment, the protection of the natural environment and of biodiversity, the protection of the indoor environment, etc. are notions which designate the key areas of intervention for environmental protection on a global scale:

• improvement of the outdoor life and of the built landscape,
• sustainable use of building materials and products,
• management of the waste resulting from construction and exploitation operations,
• sustainable use and management of energy, in order to reduce air pollution,
• sustainable use of water (through the integration of water saving and water treatment).

All these major areas of intervention induce the environmental management concepts and the impact of the buildings and building products on the environment, on the indoor environment and on the users thereof. 

We are using natural resources. We are aware that we have a responsibility towards the areas we exploit and we promote restoration.  To support this practice, we work closely with environmental organisations like WWF.
