General Terms and Conditions.

1. In order to enable suppliers to organise themselves and ensure the timely casting of concrete, the beneficiary must send orders to the concrete plants until 18:00, on the day prior to delivery.

2. The beneficiary undertakes to ensure access on the site (required permits, lighting, street signs, etc.), as well as maximum safety conditions for the handling of the concrete mixers and/or auto-pumps, and therefore Alas Romania SRL is considered exempt from any responsibility regarding the rules and regulations applicable to the access to the unloading area.

3. Alas Romania SRL hereby declines any responsibility for the failure to deliver or supply for reasons which are not attributable to Alas Romania SRL, such as: malfunctions of the concrete plants, of the truck mixers, of the concrete pumps, strikes, fires, lack of raw materials, adverse weather conditions, traffic interruptions, access to constructions sites or unloading sites which are dangerous or contrary to road traffic regulations.

4. The orders to the concrete pumping service will be transmitted at least two days before the date set for concrete casting.  The Beneficiary, aside from providing assistance to the pump operator, will provide water and cement for pump priming, if required.

5. VOLUMETRIC CONTROL: measurable variable upon unloading.

6. QUALITY CONTROL: only samples taken using methods mentioned in the regulations in force shall be taken into account.

7. Any dispute regarding concrete characteristics which are observable when the concrete is fresh, namely: composition, maximum grade of aggregates, general appearance, discrepancies between the order and the elements recorded on the shipping documents must be made immediately, possibly refusing the cargo in question. Unloading the cargo represents total acceptance, by the client, of the characteristics mentioned above.

 

Warranty Conditions 

 

S.C. ALAS ROMANIA S.R.L. guarantees the quality of the concretes and/or mortars delivered, at the level declared herein.

Warranty shall be granted under the following conditions:

C.1. The products are transported using the means provided by S.C. ALAS ROMANIA S.R.L., observing the transport instructions detailed in this certificate.

C.2. The preparation of the concretes and mortars shall be performed using only materials provided by suppliers approved by S. C.  ALAS ROMANIA  S.R.L.

C.3. The acceptance upon delivery shall take place as follows:

C.3.1. If the means of transportation for the products are provided by the client, the acceptance upon delivery shall take place in the concrete plant belonging to S. C.  ALAS ROMANIA  S.R.L.

C.3.2. If the means of transportation for the products are provided by S.C. ALAS ROMANIA  S.R.L.  the acceptance upon delivery shall take place at the entry on the client's premises.

C.4. The client shall not alter the concrete mix recipe, either during transportation, when using the means of transportation ensured by the latter, and/or after the acceptance upon delivery.

C.5. The client shall use the concretes and mortars only in the fields recommended by the specific applicable rules / regulations in force upon delivery.

C.6. The concrete placing works shall be performed by the client, in strict compliance with the provisions of the CP 012-1/2007.

The supplier does not guarantee the quality of the products delivered, in the following situations:

•         The client does not comply with the requirements of sections C.1, C.2., C.3, C.4, C.5 and C.6 herein.

•          Non-compliances due to the client

•           The use, by the client, of inappropriate technologies for concrete placing.

The failure to comply with general and specific rules of labour safety, in force upon delivery date, after the acceptance upon delivery, under section C.3 of this certificate.
